What a lovely inn and the innkeeper Doug and Shelley provided great sightseeing tips along with excellent breakfasts. The room was spacious, clean and well lit. Brandon is a quaint Vermont town quite centrally located. We hated to leave. Highly recommend !
My partner and I love this inn! Shelly met our every need, the garden in the back is gorgeous, our room was clean and beautiful, and we had a very pleasant stay. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Shelly attends to every detail. She made us feel right at home, gave us great local recommendations for places to eat, and we will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend the Lilac Inn.

Lovely room. Food was ok
Lilac In was a quaint spot with beautiful surrounding gardens and landscape. It looked to be a converted mansion complete with it's own outdated elevator (one if the owners told me it's still useable but they can't run it due to the fact it's not up to code). The one owner (nice lady named Shelly) was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were great and location was just a few blocks from the main Street.
